LED vs LCD

My friend decided to ask for my help in deciding what is better for shop: LED vs LCD?

There are about a dozen pro/con for this debate....but in a nutshell this is how i settle the argument and made him go for a LCD:

37" LG 1080p LCD 579$ on special at BESTBUY.

vs

40" Samsung LED 1080p for 999$.

YES LED is more energy efficient (but only if you have 6 of them on at same time....if its our only TV and you use it no more than 2hrs a day...your basically saving less than a 1$ - i say 0.50$)

However do you see that price difference?

What if you want a bigger LCD? then your not saving and you should go LED....

42" LG 1080p LCD 819$ @ BestBuy....at that point I'll buy the Samsung LED because it has better image at that point...more color...etc etc..

So all in all...its about the green $$$.

Godaddy is a punk ass for their SSL procedure

when DirectAdmin and Godaddy collides....DirectAdmin losses and i just like a few years of my good hair to Godaddy.

Here is a very brief summary for those who operates websites and thought that Godaddy and DirectAdmin would play nice but had to open up a few dozen of tickets.

1) When choosing Godaddy SSL use STANDARD. Premium requires faxing in a lot of paper work -unless you like pain...the Standard one is fine.

2)In Direct Admin 1)choose the default skin to work with and make sure the version of DirectAdmin is at least at 1.34 (currently at this writting i was at 1.29.4 and its now at 1.36).

3)In the directadmin go to the SSL menu - select CREATE Cert Request(second radio button, and to the right). Fill in all the information and click save. New Window pops up that will give you your request info.

4) in the Godaddy SSL menu follow the request menu and paste in the Certificate request info obtained in DirectAdmin

5)Once the Request has been approved(give or take 20mins) and email will be sent to you. Go back to the SSL menu inside Godaddy to retrieve it (you will need to checkmark and then press download).

6) TWO files will be downloaded. Your CERT for the domain and the Godaddy intermediate CA.

7)in directadmin click on CA Root Certificate. Open up with notepad the gd_bundle file. Copy paste and save.

8) LEAVE the RSA Key in the body of the SSL area and paste in everything after the the RSA Key, your new CERT (you will need to open the cert with notepad)

9) Save and go use the GoDaddy Tool that will verify if your cert ha been installed.

Took 1 full day for installation because both entity butted head.

What happens when the casual reject gammer would like to find chicks to play some Modern Warfare or Halo? Out of luck eh?

well checkt his article out from IGN.COM with this new service called GameCrush....

My 2 word review of the system: EPIC FAIL
